Three Dismissed Georgia Gymnasts Invited to Return

The three Gymdogs who were previously dismissed by former Head Coach Danna Durante have been invited back to the team.  Natalie Vaculik, Caroline Bradford and Jasmine Arnold were dismissed last April by Durante for reasons unrelated to discipline. Durante was fired a few days later.

Upon hiring former UGA gymnast and Olympian Courtney Kupets Carter,  Athletics Director Greg McGarity gave her the go-ahead to reinstate Vaculik, Bradford and Arnold if she chose to do so.  According to athletic department spokesman Claude Felton, Coach Carter did in fact invite the three to rejoin the team.  Felton said Bradford has elected not to return to the Gym Dogs.
